Michael J. Berry

Michael J. Berry is the founder and principal attorney of MJB Law Group. Mr. Berry’s entire practice is devoted to litigation, where he exclusively represents employees whose workplace rights have been violated and ordinary people who have been injured by someone’s negligence. His number one priority is obtaining justice for his clients, making them whole, and getting them back to their normal lives.

Prior to starting MJB Law Group, Mr. Berry defended employers and did defense work for numerous insurance companies for claims involving personal injury. However, Mr. Berry realized his heart was not truly dedicated to helping corporations and insurance companies save money. He realized his true calling was assisting ordinary people.

Mr. Berry has extensive experience in state and federal trial and appellate courts and arbitration. This includes trials, arbitrations, depositions, mediations, appellate work, and all aspects of pretrial written discovery and law and motion.

Mr. Berry received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Southern California in 2011, magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa. He received his Juris Doctor from Chapman University Dale E. Fowler School of Law in 2014.

Mr. Berry is a member of the State Bar of California and is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Central and Eastern Districts of California and the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals.

Mr. Berry is active in the legal community and is an elected Board Member for the Orange County Trial Lawyers Association. Mr. Berry is also a member of the California Employment Lawyers Association, Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles, and Consumer Attorneys of California.  He was also named a 2023 Rising Stars Honoree by Super Lawyers.
